I feel that, as long as they stay determined and don’t fall victim to any particularly bad habits, this is a decent path for them for now. I simply want them to be productive and happy, and this is doing the job and doing it well!

What do you look for in a daughter in law?

To have one at all. Or a son in law. Child in law. I’m not picky. Far from it, in fact.

All I ask is that you be polite and treat them well. They’re hopeless on their own.

Oh, I think their songs are surprisingly tasteful. Any improper content is kept to a minimum, unlike this “blog,” and their singing has improved so much! They were always little songbirds… I suppose that’s what I get for naming Jyuushimatsu partly after a finch. They always sounded wonderful, and spent some days just laying around and singing, but this is on a different level from that. I suppose they really are professionals now!
