Jyushi! Yuzu did great in your CM!!! Was it fun? Did yuzu have a favorite part to film? ;)

He pauses, pressing a sleeved hand to his chin. “I liked all of it, actually! It was like a load of little stories with problems and happy endings, and all the actors were really fun to work with! I hated seeing them sad, but their smiles were real and that was the best part. Smiles and laughter are the most powerful things in the world.” Jyuushimatsu gives a determined nod filled with absolute certainty!

Juicy, got any pet bugs?

“You’re interested in bugs?!” He gasps. “SO COOL!” After a second of bouncing, he nods. “Sometimes! Totty doesn’t like me keeping them in the apartments for long because they give him the jibblies, but I’m ok with taking them back outside after I watch ‘em a bit! To a safe place, of course. Be nice to bugs, they’re super important to the environment! If you see one inside where it doesn’t belong, try taking it back outside. Every bug is a good bug.” He still smiles when he adds on, “Except mosquitoes. I hate mosquitoes.”

Aww Jyushi id say you’re super cute, but I feel as if I’d make a certain female group member jealous..! But, I’m sure she’s agree with me anyways hehehe 💛

He pauses for a second, his concentration face on. “I don’t know why anyone in a girl group would be jealous in public! If her contract is like mine, then she can’t date either! That’d be super not good, we hafta be single Pringles so our fans won’t be sad.” He tilts his head to one side with a smile. “Do you mean Honoka maybe? She’s my oshi of the group, but she’s still a teenager! A twenty something romancing a teenager is no good!” He pauses for a second and starts singing the “no good” verse of the song he just finished. “I can’t stop! Their songs are infectious! I’ve got a bad case of the smiles!”

The stream starts with an empty room, full of yellow fabric and sparkly gold things. Suddenly, Jyuushimatsu jumps into frame. “Get ready to hustle all of your muscles! It’s singalong time for Canta! I’m Jyuushimatsu, please be nice to me todaaaaay.” He bows before settling into his seat and pulling up his headphones, each side adorned with a realistic half of a yuzu. “I’m going to play some songs that I like, sing along, talk to you guys, and make this day super sunny and fun for all of you!”

Jyuushimatsu gives two thumbs up through his floppy sleeves. “It’s gonna be the best! Song one! Because this group is super fun and this song is super duper catchy! No Brand Girls!“

He can’t hold back the way he bounces and twists in his seat, only spinning in his chair or getting up to boogie down when there’s a break in the words. It’s saccharine and adorable, and it’s clear that he’s singing more to have fun than sound perfect, a stark contrast to how Totty went about it yesterday. He quickly works his magic on the audience, and he’s sincerely hoping for smiles. (He actually asks everyone at home to do the “oh yeah!"s after he does. That dedicated to makng people smile.)

CM 2: Jyuushimatsu

There’s a bored and tired businessman sitting at his desk, head in his hands. “I can’t finish this. Not today.” There’s the crack and fizz of a bottle being opened offscreen. There stands Jyuushi, dressed in what can only be described as a citrusy magical boy outfit.

“Yes yuzu can!” He hands off the bottle and dashes away. The businessman takes a curious sip, smiling as he swallows.

Another cut to a tired teacher. Jyuushimatsu cracks open another bottle, placing it on her desk with a bow. “Yuzu got this.” Away he goes! She drinks, and suddenly the classroom doesn’t feel so loud.

A kid with a bruise blossoming on his arm. A cold bottle is put over the purplish injury with a smile. “I’m here for yuzu!”

A lady’s nervously looking at herself in the bathroom mirror. He’s perched on the sink, a lip balm in his other hand. “Yuzu are fine. Promise!”

A parent is watching their baby sleeping. He whispers, “I’m proud of yuzu!”

A girl sits at a table, sniffling as she stares at the empty seat across the table. (She may look a bit familiar to fans of the girl group GELATO!, actually. Homura hasn’t been in a commercial by herself for a while, so it’s nice to see her face!) Suddenly, a bottle is pushed across the table, and that seat isn’t empty anymore. He all but shoves a handkerchief in her face to dry her tears. “Yuzu ok?”

As she cracks open the bottle with a smile, he tests to see if his water tricks work with carbonated drinks. A brief voiceover declares “Yuzu flavor!” She laughs as the jingle plays, Jyuushimatsu singing with more enthusiasm than finesse as a recorder plays along.

“Sing a song for Canta!”

Are you watching the Olympics now Totty? The events are always so fascinating to watch, don’t you think~?

@kabukii Todomatsu smiles and waves. “Hi, sweetie! Long time no see!” He nods. “Yes! I’m just reading up on stuff between asks for now, honestly. I’ll be able to pay way more attention tomorrow, though. Speaking of that, I’m afraid my time’s almost up, and I have to wrap up my broadcast. Thank you for coming, everyone!” He points at the camera, wagging a finger. “You guys be nice to Jyuushi, ok?” Totty makes a heart with his hands and says his little self-intro/goodbye. “This has been the Cutie Fairy, Todomatsu a.k.a. Totty, signing off! Love you!”

He is a whiny little thing, gosh. “Don’t you use my emoji against me! That doesn’t make it seem any less inappropriate, you know!” The corners of his mouth twitch just a bit. He wants to smile, he really does. “Have a drink, you’re still too thirsty!”
