i was waiting to do this when i got my blog back but its been almost 3 weeks and has become a situation i can’t wait on anymore.
a week ago on labor day weekend my boyfriend was stopped at a check point for drunk drivers in miami beach as he was working. as most of you know he’s in the process of applying for asylum and when asked for id he couldn’t provide it. because of this his car was impounded. i wanted to help him out but the money i’m waiting for has been super delayed and he had to wait a week until he found someone who could help him and it cost $700 to get his car back. he also lost an entire weeks worth of work since he needs his car to do his job. the day after he gets his car back (literally today) some fucking douche bag trying to get out of an express lane swerved in front of him they ended up crashing. this is still developing too so we don’t know if he’ll lose his car again or how much he’ll pay on top of the $700 he owes his friend for getting it back. he doesn’t even know how he’s going to work. and as i’ll explain below getting another job would be extremely difficult.
my boyfriends luck has not been good the past few months and its had him incredibly down, from being kicked out of his own home relying on a friend for shelter to having is car impounded twice in the last few months and now the car crash its been tough. his asylum papers and everything is still being processed and he legally cannot work until he gets a work permit. he doesn’t have help from his immediate family and if anything a lot of his family members in venezuela rely on him for food and essentials. they’ll literally go hungry and won’t be able to do simple things like laundry if he can’t stabilize himself. my boyfriend is a very hard working person and it seems like his situation is only getting shittier and shittier. this isn’t the first donation post i’ve made for him but since my old blog was suspended i didn’t have a choice but make a new post.
although i had other pages i decided to make a new donation page so people understand all the funds that had been donated up until this point have been used and we’re back at zero. if you can afford to donate a few dollars or even just reblog this post we’d appreciate it tremendously. i hate making these posts as much as the next guy but my boyfriend doesn’t have the options or opportunities so many of us have an he needs help.
so uh. tomorrow (or today, depending on when ur reading this post) is the 15th anniversary of september eleventh, and i just want to tell my fellow muslims that its ok, its ok, it’s not our fault, i love you, i love you, its ok, i love you.

(or any company) to own more than one domain name (abbreviated and non) and redirect all to one place or clone their sites in order to serve as catch-alls and attempt to grab more traffic (often people just assume a full name is their url or an abbreviation is their url, sometimes only one is available at the time of purchase and they grab the other one later on). Regardless, the more traffic/visibility, the more chance of donation, which is how they survive.
