“Choromatsu, Choromatsu! Did the marketing people give you mint because they know how cool you are?”

Choro looks a bit surprised. He’s tried to hard to be cool, and it’s been joked about every time, but. Someone just told him to his face that he was cool?! He full on squeals, scrambling to the counter. “You really think so? This might surprise you, but that’s usually the complete opposite of what most people think of me. I’m so happy that someone sees what I’m going for!” He hops in place a few more times before hastily coughing and taking a deep breath. Choromatsu gestures to the menu behind him with one hand, all professional airs and smiles. “You can get it soft-serve or scooped, both cup or cone, as well as the Choromatsu specials they have today! I hope that it lives up to your ‘coolness’ standards.”

A dark haired girl in a floral skirt approaches the counter. “Truffles, please?” She smiles and pulls down the hem of her shirt, to make it easier to see the ‘Totty’s Hotties’ hand-lettered on the front. “We knew you could do it. Thanks for doing all you do for the fans!” She might linger a bit on her handshake, be careful.

Todomatsu is already beaming, and it nearly doubles when he notices that shirt. “You helped? Aah, thank you so much! I’m so glad that I have fans as dedicated as you guys. Being appreciated like this is a dream come true!” He’s supposed to randomly selected a keychain, but he makes absolutely sure that he gets a pink one before reaching out for a handshake. It’s only lightly firm, both hands, slightly frosty fingertips. Totty gloves up as the truffles come out, ice cream covered in a thin layer of chocolate, looking like little faceted hearts. He stencils some cocoa powder in a flower shape, using the chocolate and strawberry sauce bottles to write a round, cute little “Thank you!” along the side of the plate. “Thanks a bunch!”

Ichimatsu

Ichimatsu comes to the counter, thankfully in sneakers instead of the promo image skates. He waits for a moment, picking a bit at his cuticles before nodding toward the menu. “Take your pick. I won’t rush you.”

A Frosty Handshake!

Amaaai has had a lot of idol-related advertisements. What better thing than cute folks and ice cream to get people fired up in summer? GELATO! has still outdone the Matsuno boys in sheer number, but they’re fighting to match their sister group.

This time, the ice cream company has them set up with a one day cafe collaboration. The retro diner exterior is all chrome and bright colors, music from F6’s discography playing over warm-sounding speakers, and there’s an unexpected sight behind the counter.

Amid the experienced soda jerks and ice-cream scoopers, the Matsuno Sextuplets are right up front. Fan club members have lined up to get in, even though the boys are just adding the toppings and spangles. Card-carrying Fan Club members get to enter first, combining a handshake event and a chance to get a sweet treat along with it! Summer sure can be sweet, huh?

Each of the boys has a limited edition flavor associated with them, available in conbinis and grocery stores, but this cafe also offers a rarity: soft serve, only available in Amaaai’s store locations. These are incorporated into all of their special drinks and desserts. Order one, and you’ll get a slightly icy handshake from him, and a randomly-selected keychain!

Another plot twist!

Osomatsu and Todomatsu are one bite apart, as they do.

But Choromatsu, who was dead last last night, is now in third with twenty more votes than Karamatsu!
